GOALS AND OBJECTIVES:
The objectives of the Department includes the thorough training of highly skilled petroleum engineers, the provision of high quality research and consultancy services for the needs of engineering and technological development in petroleum and allied industries in Nigeria. The Department will plan and implement teaching and research programmes that reflect current best practices within the petroleum industry. The Department will develop links with industries, foreign institutions and professional bodies and undertake tasks for multi-national companies, government and small organizations.
